  1.  What are remanufactured Laser Toner Cartridges?

  • They are Cartridges that have been remanufactured to perform the same as, or better than new.  This is a process that includes: disassembly, cleaning, replacing worn parts, i.e. wiper blade, doctor blade, drum, recovery blade, and any other parts that may have excessive wear from the previous cycle.  The hopper is then heat sealed, and refilled with toner either matching or exceeding the original specifications.  The cartridge is then reassembled, tested, labeled and packaged for use.  All FJAproducts.com remanufactured toner cartridges contain NEW drums!

    2.  What are remanufactured Inkjet Cartridges?

  • Remanufactured Inkjet cartridges are cleaned using steam, heat and pressure to ensure an environment free of contamination resulting from old or dried ink.  Cartridges are then refilled through the print head, packaged in a static free bag and boxed for use.

     3.  What are Compatible Inkjet/Laser Toner Cartridges?

  • Compatible Inkjet cartridges are cartridges that are manufactured new from the same materials used by the OEM to perform to the same specification.  In effect, they are generic cartridges much like you would buy a generic brand of many things in a grocery store.

     4.  If I use a remanufactured Laser Toner Cartridge, will it void my
          Manufacture's Warranty?

  • No.  All manufactures of equipment are specifically prohibited from voiding warranties because someone elected to use a consumable not of their brand.  This is covered under both the Moss-Magnusson Warranty Act, and the Sherman Anti-Trust Act.  There is an exception to this in the Moss-Magnuson Act.  That exception allows a manufacturer to require you to use their products in equipment they warrant provided that those products are provided at no cost to the consumer.  Hewlett-Packard came out with a statement several years ago that rightfully and legally explained their position.  Their position was that there are too many companies remanufacturing toner cartridges for them to get involved in testing and approving certain cartridges, so while they will not prohibit, or recommend their use, they cannot and will not be responsible for repairing any damage caused by a remanufactured cartridge while the printer is under warranty.

    5.  What if I am not happy with the product I purchased?

  • We hope that will not be the case, but if it is, simply give us a call and tell us that you are not satisfied and we will provide you with a return authorization number if the claim was made within 30 days of the invoice date.  Our receiving department will not accept any packages unless the Return Authorization Number (RAN) is visible.  All returns must be shipped freight prepaid, with our RAN visibly written on the mailing label.
  • All claims related to damaged merchandise or shipping shortages must be made within 5 days of the invoice date.
  • Defective products must be returned within 90 days of the invoice date.

    6.  Do you offer other products that are not listed in your store?

    7.  Will you sell just one or two cartridges for my personal use?

  • Yes!  We don't have a minimum order requirement.  Whether you need 1 or 100 cartridges, we will be happy to process your order.

    8.  How do I pay for the products?

  • It is very easy to do business with FJAproducts.comWe accept all major credit cards, debit cards, government credit cards, Purchase Orders, and even have credit terms upon completion of our credit application.  If you would like to pay by check or money order, please submit your order using our off-line order form.  All C.O.D. orders are subject to additional C.O.D. charges as set by the carrier.

     9.  How will my product be shipped?

  • Your order will be shipped via USPS Priority Confirmed, Airborne Express 2nd Day or UPS Ground.  Each shipping method allows us to send our customers tracking numbers as soon as their product has been shipped allowing them the capability to track it.  For more information on tracking packages, please visit one of the sites below.  FJAproducts.com has 3 different shipping options, ground for only $2.50, 2nd Day Air for only $8.95, and Next Afternoon for only $14.95.

  • In some cases, FJAproducts.com uses other merchants and their shipping methods may vary, however, we will do are best to let you know when your package has been shipped and when it will arrive.

     10.  When will my product be shipped?

  • FJAproducts.com maintains a large inventory of our most popular items that can be shipped same or next day, depending on the time the order was placed.  If we do not have your product in stock it still may ship same day.  If not your product may not be shipped for up to 3 business days, however, we will inform you of any shipping delays to avoid inconveniences.

     11.  Cancelled orders?

  • Processed orders can not be cancelled.  The customer is responsible for all freight charges, a 20% restocking fee and all bank card service fees on returns or refused deliveries.
  • All returns, if accepted, must be in resalable condition.  Inner packing, if any, must remain unopened and manufacturers' packing must be unopened and free of any markings, labels, etc..

     12.  How do I return my empty cartridge?

  • If you purchased a cartridge that requires a core exchange, you have up to 30 days to return your empty cartridge.  When your product arrives, you will find a pre-paid mailer inside.  Please affix the mailing label to the box your new cartridge came in and when you old cartridge is empty, ship it to us.
The 30 day return window is for cartridges that are in high demand, you will be notified when making your purchase about core charges that will be applied if your empty is not returned.
